I thought I'd show you guys a more detailed pic of the scabbard. I know I have some up of my master sword already. Someone actually asked me if the scabbard actually works? Umm...yes? hahaha I can place the sword inside it..thats sort of the point of having one right??? haha
BOTH are composed mostly of craft foam. ^_^

what did you use for the actual scabbard? poster board, pieces of narrow long cardboard? please help

I cut out two pieces of cardboard (front and back) then glued some craft foam onto the sides so it would have the rounded shape on the side. Then I covered it all in craft foam and began detailing.

maybe about 14 hours combined?? or less. The PAINT is what took forever....O.o and modpodging.

Very gorgeously detailed and well-designed, especially considering most of it was made of craft foam. Pretty clear you put a lot of heart and soul into this one.
